My first day at work

so i've just graduated. i've yet to get my marklist and all. But i do have a course certificate that says "Arjun s Krishnan has completed 4 years of BTech classes in civil engineering".
last week, i went around the city in search of a job... more like a part time sort oif a thing as i also had plans of preparing for gate exams 2011. went to "land trades", "just like that"...not expecting any thing at all... submitted my resume there and voila, the very next day, i got a call from them to attend an interview. the interview was very brief. it was with mr Srinath Hebbar. The owner of Land trades. I told him i was preparing for Gate and that i would be leaving that place in a short time. he was okay with that and asked me to come, monday onwards. now im really excited about it! but i am also sort of concerned. it feels like i dont know a thing in civil. its a wonder how i managed to pass all these years... will try to post the next time around..ie tmrw morning or something... about how it all goes eventually.

IGNIZ 10 AND ME!!

this blog will have everything on Igniz from my pov...i'm mainly writing it so that years later i can look this up and go, hmm ..aah...wow, i was a part of that!!(ofcourse, it all depends on how everything turns out, but still).

right now i'm very sleepy...its almost 4 in the morning and i'm going to sleep....i'l prepare the blog on ms word and copy it here....l8r

a new beginning?

a day past christmas 2009... a few more days to a new year....

i've gotta make that list....resolutions....i think it was when i did it the first time around that it worked the best...i think i have it here somewhere...probably in my 2007 diary...

2008 had a list which i pretty much forgot about in a couple of weeks...the 2009 one was not bad..i worked out a good part of it atleast till half the year...what was in it? my first resolution was to stop biting my fingernails! :-)

i actually managed to "not" bite my nails till around may-june, which i thought was pretty good...considering the fact that i've been nibbling on em since god knows when!...i think a resolution that i might wanna add to the 2010 list would be take some time and post some stuff up here....

Lets see how it all turns out....

the beginning..

aha! i've finally started.....wow this is exciting!...like writing diary entries for the whole world to see....okay...lets get started already...

hey everyone! Arjun here...i'm pursuing a btech in civil engg...in semester 6 now...trying to make life at coll a little exciting...a few of us here are gettin together and hopin to set up an eco club...its nameless at the moment..will put up the name as soon as we have one...

on tuesday evening, some of us got together in kiran vincy's room and discussed the club..and the possible activities we could have, once we set it up..some of the ideas we came up with was street plays, cleanup campaigns, awareness campaigns,etc,etc...the members so far are:

Manu, kiran v,kiran joseph, akthar, ashwin,hari, paul baby, djay..hmm..who am i missing here...oh yeah..myself..hehe

we're thinkn of distributing a questionarre to all the students at the coll by monday....make em all members...then begin having activities nd all...we're gonna hand out 1260 copies!!!..hopin we get a decent response...

thats it for today
